A new genre for GSN that exceeded all expectations. Hosted by Rebecca Romijn, Skin Wars put a naked twist on the Reality competition format. Sideshow was hired to provide promos and shorts for digital content to support the series premiere and helped deliver an unprecedented social & viral awareness. A tremendous amount of footage was sifted through as our writers and editors drilled down to the nuggets of body painting gold.

CLIENT: THE CW | WARNER HORIZON | THE GURIN COMPANY | 405 PRODUCTIONS

Sideshow was there from the beginning, as seen in the Case Study. So naturally we were asked to fully explain Extreme Musical Chairs to affiliates and advertisers across the country. We created a 15-minute animated pilot of our original sizzle reel of the game.  Since the cost of creating a live-action pilot would be huge, executing an animated pilot reduced costs significantly and proved invaluable to the format and set design when the show went into production. The objective was to provide pre-visualization of this crazy format where life really does imitate art.

CLIENT: SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON 

Southern California Edison wanted us to recreate a scene of an incident in which one of their Line Workers was injured.  Using 3D animation, we accurately portrayed the incident to scale and timing.  The video was shown to Line Workers within SCE in order to help educate them on the dangers.

Group 22 & Southern California Edison engaged us for a series of consumer-facing films to support  and communicate their new pricing structure. In addition to the original films, we supplied subtitling & hardcoding for the numerous language deliverables.

Sideshow was asked to help explain the huge impact closing the San Onofre Nuclear Facility would have on the regional power grid. This clear presentation helped everybody involved understand the ramifications and possible solutions.
